District Convention News
On Friday, June 26, 2009 Iowa District East of The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS), in convention, elected Rev. Brian S. Saunders to the office of District President. Rev. Saunders, of Muscatine, ordained in 1990, was installed into office on Saturday by Rev. Dr. Wm Diekelman, First Vice-President of the LCMS. This is Rev. Saunders’ first term as District President. He takes over the work of the Rev. Dr. Gary Arp who retired after three terms as District President. |
